Differnces between how men and women socialize and communitcate.
Men have a firm sense of direction, they need to trace the game, catch it, and find the way home, while women can see what’s happening around the house, spot an approaching danger, they notice changes in the children’s behavior and appearance. Men’s brains are programmed to hunt, which explains their narrow range of vision, while women’s brains are able to handle a wider range of information.
Women have a type of communication that builds, maintains, and strengthens the relationship. Their communication is nurturing, has emotional expression, empathy, and support. While men are usually the experts in task accomplishment and addressing questions about facts. They analyze issues and solve problems. Their communication is competitive, lacking sentimentality, analyzing, and focusing aggressively on task accomplishment.
It is said that men and women communicate differently because growing up as children girls tend to play with a single friend which gives her alot of time to talk and spend time listening and understanding another person, while boys play in big groups often competeing for the leadership in the group which makes them competitive and makes them try and convince everyone they are better. this shows that boys growing into men use talking to emphasize status while girls growing into women use talking to make connections. Other people believe that different habits of men and women are explained by different roles in the process of evolution. Even though life conditions have changed, both men and women tend to follow their own biological programs.
One problem betwen men and women is that men expect women to think and feel what they think and feel and women expect men to think and feel what they are thinking and feeling. When this does not happen problems arise. If men and women could accept the fact that they are not the same problems wouldnt occur, but each sex always relies on the other one understanding them
Women and men sometimes perceive the same messages to have different meanings. In fact, it may be as a result of the differences in message interpretation that the "battle of the sexes" occurs. Women are normally the relationship specialists and men are the task specialists.
